Come on, stop feeding us this kind of misinformation that is flooding the web, killing a once promising medium for exchanging information and knowledge.
Hey, wasn't the world predicted (by some christian nut) to end last Friday? Did the rapture pass me by?

The world ended in 1914, I think. And the Web's always been full of shit.

Hear! Hear! The latest news:
The crazy preacher has confessed (about time, after 4 times creating worldwide panic): No one can know the date of the end of the world.
Let's party!
And repent later.
In 2012 maybe.

I was exposed to the full force of the "archaic revival" the weekend before last, and this, the current psychedelic orthodoxy, is a load of waffle ideal for building a writing career around. (Until next year, that is.) 14 year-olds with no knowledge of history may find it impressive, but that sense of imminence they feel is unfortunately perennial.

Tomorrow we'll wake up and find ourselves living in the new golden age of the Cosmic Facebook.

Don't worry too much, Okeedoe.
