Absolutely - especially considering the period in time that they did it, long before the long string of nauseating imitators. I don't think we're talking Ozzie vs. Marty or Grace, but a more general vibe.


That's a very redundant statement considering music has been around quite some time before jefferson airplane. There ideas came from other influences as well. I know JA wrote ballad using winnie the pooh references and fred neil lyric references
