Why thank you. I have about one good drawing for thirty awful ones, but here's another I can deal with:

I don't recall whether that was on purpose, actually. That one seemed to just sort of take form as I went along. You're right though!

Awww, thank you! I take that as quite a compliment. Actually, at school last year while I was painting, someone told me that, "you have a strange talent for painting designs that other people could only come up with when they're high." That made my month...

Ooh, that would be fun... if my drawings were more consistent, it would be more likely that I'd really consider it. It isn't too often I get a drawing that I REALLY like. Maybe if I keep working though, it'll be easier.
Since I'm a musician too, I think a lot about links between art and music. It's really interesting how many art students ended up as musicians back in the 60s: John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ray Davies, Pete Townshend, Syd Barrett, Keith Richards, etc.

Yeah, that drawing is really something else. Was there any particular meaning you put into it when you were drawing? Or was it just something random that you started drawing? I love symbolism in paintings. But either way, it's such a fabulous drawing.

Wow, thanks so much!
Actually, it had virtually no intended meaning whatsoever... I just found this blue brush pen and I really wanted to draw eyes.
Then it looked really empty, so I added in the dots and squiggles and such. I bet you could come up with a lot of very good and substantial meanings though.

That's what I love about art of any kind - music, paintings, literature - is that there's no 1 true meaning. It can be applied to whatever you'd like. I think, for me personally, all the eyes sort of mean to open your mind. Something like that.

I mentioned this before, but the Marty painting expresses the "scary" aspect of Grace quite well. She's also starting to look a bit like Marty around the mouth and the chin!
