Anyone Here Make Your Own Music?

Anything goes here folks... just keep it somewhat clean ;)

Why thank you Babson. If the industry was a little more agreeable, it would be a lot more likely I'd choose music. For all I know, it'll become more agreeable soon, but until then, I'm leaving many options open. It would be pretty cool though... Very hard, but pretty cool.
Trouble in mind, lord I'm blue
But I won't be blue always
The sun's gonna shine in my door,
Shine in my back door someday

Hey guys and gals! Just made a new youtube account for my original music (and some covers). I have 3 songs up already and more to come soon. Check them out if you've got the time and interest. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

I consider myself a pretty good singer. took classical lessons through all of school and now im learning keyboard pretty fast and trying to write songs. I have a few things i think sound alright but i focus more on lyrics and singing. Basically i just write about daily thoughts about all sorts of things and try to tie them in with cool themes. then make up a rythm and a few chord changes and scattered notes here and there and put em together. No recordings yet tho. Basically i just do it for fun right now.

Hey peoples :)

I've been absent for quite some time...I didn't realise just how much time until today, so here I am!

Since this is my own thread I started way back about people making their own music, here is my link to some stuff I've been doing over the past few months...

Good singing job to ''the rains came down''.I must say I enjoyed it inspite of the trite lyrics. You sang it with the feeling that indicates a presence of decent amount of emotional intelligence.I suspect you might be a romantic ''ohšgwuzr''.

I'm glad to hear from you again.I hope you're doing ok.You sound healthy and content.
I would tell you more if you showed me the belly button again.

(Try not to sound like a 75 yo Kate Bush too often.)

Oh gee, thanks for the "trite lyrics" comment! OUCH.

I actually was trying to do more of a mainstream romantic type song instead of some of my previous, more weird songs like Come to Bed, Mr Spock or Onion Foot. I'm not good at "love songs". Never thought I'd ever do one at all actually.

75 year old Kate Bush? Is that what I sound like to you? lol

I said I liked it! Don't be a sulky Auntie .It is in my computer now.You
sound like a 75 yo Kate Bush only sometimes when you try to reach a high note phrasing. Don't overemphasize .Get rid of it.Don't pout ,I really like your voice but the high pitch vibratos doesn't suit your voice ,baabeh, babeh.I added your page to my favorites bar.You are about to become a cult author to me.>wink<

And you need to work with a decent, real band if you want your voice to reach its true value , Acid Auntie.

(Don't think I'm not aware of the sentimental value that song has to you.I respect that.)
