Yes, they wanted to be part of our counterculture so much they played music for us that was OUTASITE!

Was just reading on the cover of my new CD Worst of how JA played the east coast for the fist time in '67 at a small coffee house, as was the style at that time. JA totally blue away the Boston/Cambridge crowd. They had never experienced anything like it
The counterculture started with a lot of little steps over several years until a spark ignited it around '67. That attracted these Godlike musicians Who believe it or not, wanted to be part of that culture as much as we all did.
