Anyone Here Make Your Own Music?

Anything goes here folks... just keep it somewhat clean ;)

Here's a spontaneous psychedelicious improv jam I and my buddy Andrew did last October. I'm on bass he's on guitar. We have a band called "Martha McStep" - up until now we usually just jam for our own enjoyment, but we plan to start playing out soon. Enjoy and please let me know what you think.

Also, if you check out my youtube user page, you'll find some demos of some of my basses and attempts at Jack Casady bass lines.

I play bass in a band that does original music. In the interest of full disclosure, I am not the one who writes the tunes, but I do come up with some of the bass lines. The band is called Local Disturbance, so named by the City of Golden Police Department... And yes, we thanked the LAWMAN for his contribution.

thanks! we've got hours of recorded jams but they're not the best of quality (one mic set up in the middle of the room)... i've been meaning to sift through and clean some of it up, but with college and work I almost never get around to it. when I do though, I'll post some links on here

Here's a sitar/tabla drums/bass jam from a show we played last month. I played sitar on this one.

Wow, I've not been here for ages!!

Speaking of music and stuff, I've been stagnant with my own productions/creations, but I have been doing some vocal clips...mainly for constructive criticism and feedback on music forums, but if anyone's interested, some aren't too hideous. Things like River by Joni Mitchell, etc. There's a bit of variety there. Some Stevie Nicks bits, Kate Bush, Carpenters, etc.

(remember, I'm not a professional. No lessons have been had and I don't know what the hell I'm doing. lol)

Actually, I did.... I just sdidn't get a chance to post.

Great job! You have a really great, unique voice. Keep going!

I'm a singer myself-- maybe I'll upload something to youtube pretty soon. I have one song up, but I wasn't using a good mike, and thus I sound terrible.
