I'm a comic strip artist. Look up "Butcher and Wood" and "comics".

Oops! This link appears to be broken.
Send us a link that works.I'd like to see your cartoons very much.

Sorry,I've been impatient.I've found this one:

(An uniformed and colourless world with brainwashed and depersonalized inhabitants(inmates).Hopefully ,I won't live to see that if it attains global proportion. It already happened in particular parts of the world. But the Berlin wall fell down, thank g(G)od.)

Is that your allegory of communism? It is a decent piece of satire.

In the Sixties we were young and big things were promised. "World of Tomorrow" was about our disappointment with the "future" as the 20th Century came to an end. I'm glad you liked that strip because it's one I'm quite pleased with myself.

Wow.... I wish I could draw. I have more fun writing though.

My friend and I are planning a webcomic. I know a great artist who agreed to draw it. Actually, some of the characters/situations are very Airplane-inspired, so I'll definitely post a link when I get it up and running.

Nah, but i used to draw alot, pretty much took up all my time except for school, THEN i became a musician, after a gap of time, where i lost interest in the visual arts, and started writting alot, but ive gotten back into drawing. Most of it is fake maps and album covers though.

P.S: Has anybody here become obsessed with histories of bands, how the member changes work and all that, maybe even to the point of making your own fake artists/groups?

YES!

I have invented multiple bansd, one of which is the focus of my webcomic.

I love making music. I sing as well as play guitar and bass, and I've written about fifty songs. I need a band badly.

I just want you to know that Carol and I have at last been published in something distributed in San Francisco. It's a comic strip about Rick Griffin, and it's in Artillery magazine, which can be found at art fairs and galleries. I'm very happy about this!

At 10 I wanted to be a commercial artist. Now at 60, I'm writing my first book. I'm gonna call it "Wild Stories $25" :D

Thanks! We've been contributing strips to Artillery for a few years now, but it's based in LA; my favourite old comic books come from the Bay Area, of course.
