Your own Ideal JA album

Postby okeedoe on Tue Jul 28, 2009 10:49 am

Make your own ideal JA album of 8 to 10 songs and choose the name for it.Make an A and B side like on old vinyls. The album has to be musically consistent so make sure not to mix songs from the different phases.(let's make 2 phases: from '65 to '69 and from '70 to '73)

I don't have a clear picture of it yet so be the first one to put songs together for the perfect album.

I'll do one for both phases, it'll be like the Beatles red and blue albums

Jefferson Airplane: Flightpath Vol 1 1965 - 1969

Side One: Liftoff

High Flying Bird
And I Like it
Today
She Has Funny Cars
Martha

Side Two: Full Altitude

Won't You Try/ Saturday Afternoon
In Time
Hey Frederick (9 minute version)
Turn My Life Down
Somebody to Love (Fillmore East 1969)

Jefferson Airplane Flightpath vol 2 (1970 - 1973)

Side One: Turbulence

Have You Seen the Saucers
When the Earth Moves Again
Pretty as You Feel
Law Man
War Movie

Side Two: Landing

Aeire
Alexander the Medium
Eat Starch Mom
Crown of Creation (live 1972)
Your Mind Has Left Your Body (although it's off Barron Von Toll Booth, the lineup on this track is essentially the '72 tour lineup of the Airplane plus Jerry Garcia.)

Yeah we seem to be all on a similar wavelength, I just late last week made a four cd-r Jefferson Airplane compilation and incorperated some stuff I recentley got off I-tunes, Woodstock Experience and Sweeping Up the Spotlight.
