bootlegs like "tales from the mothership"

Postby plueschinger on Thu Nov 06, 2008 6:24 pm

Hi ho!

I'm really interested in jefferson airplane bootlegs,
but I only know about a few, the above mentioned and for example about "Pey*te, Sweet Potatoes and LS*", the stars are for the letters "o" and "d",

O.K. I have more than 30 JA concerts on my computer, but this are only wma-files and not on vinyl.

If you know about some bootlegs, recorded on vinyl or cd and their name, please post them here.
Thanks

regards

Thanks a lot for your answer,

but so rare they are not,
you can find the original concerts on sugarmegs.org.
especially the "Tales from the mothership" or "Almost Starhipshape" concert
from the octobre 1970, one day after Janis Joplin died,
Marty Balin sings at the end of the concert,
got the revolution, I need a new band.
Oops, I didn't saw you mentioned sugarmegs already.
Here you can find the JA-shows from sugarmegs:
http://tela.sugarmegs.org/bands.aspx
Have a lot of fun.

The two boots that I used to own ... "Up Against The Wall" and "Tapes From the Mother Ship" both these days are traded CD shows so they are available.

I was able to open and post.

Took a long time but that could be the firewall where I work.

Ive gotten into bootlegs ALOT.Especially Airplane. But i never really got into trading, just downloading off the net. This is annoying the hell out of me right now though, i cant find any!I got 11 Airplane boots, and have to get them off the net.Ive become obsessed lately and cant get any good Airplane boots, these are hard to come by.I used to do torrent, but theres few Airplane shows there, and they either have no seeders or very little.I tried sugarmegs, still do, but i hate how its all one mp3, and some are incomplete. Is there some hidden site somewhere online thats got a whole goldmine of Airplane boots!?!?I NEED THEM!

My list-
1972-9-22 Winterland
1972-1-16 Cleveland Public Hall(the download i got is incomplete, some bad file, so only the first 9 songs)
1970-10-4 Winterland
1970-4-15 Winterland
1969-10-26 Winterland
1969-10-25 Winterland
1969-9-06 Family Dog
1969-6-13 Family Dog
1968-10-26 Fillmore West
1967-3-4 Cafe A Go Go
1966-10-16 Fillmore West
1966-10-15 Fillmore West
Hide, Witch, Hide!
The Good Folks come to Burn Thee
Their Keen Enjoyment hid Behind
The Gothic Mask of Duty!
