I'm just using Photoshop 7. I cut Grace out and pasted her as a new layer to a black background. After enlarging the pic, I softened the grainy image quality with the blur brush. Then I just tinkered with some inner glows for the highlight on her right shoulder/arm and played with the gamma and saturation levels.

The avatar was with Photoshop as well (Image Ready). One of my degree's is in Web Design and development, so I have to use image editors (although I still classify myself as amateur!)

Thank you for the photos, Lilla. I think they've solved the puzzle of Grace's profile for me. I'd like to get all those up-against-the-wall photos together, cut out the people, and find the secret message in the doodles.
