Well, I just wanted to say that I like the flat brightness of Grace's paintings. Sort of Egyptian. That one of her and Janis Joplin is really good.

Spot on, CD! I love Rick Griffin's art. He produced a beautiful mystic surf comic, "Tales From the Tube", in which he'd drawn all the colour separations by hand. I hope to own a copy of it someday. I'll never be able to afford any of Crumb's original art, but I have plenty of his comics.

I love the psychedelic art from the 60s - they did a big influence on me (but the Airplane's music did the biggest influence!)
I love op art and art nouveu (secession) as well.

The pioneer of op art was Victor Vasarely, a Hungarian artist. He has a lot of fantastic paintings
