I can understand why it's such a treasured memory, and some claim its non-disastrous hugeness proved a point, but I think I would have hated sitting on mud looking at some tiny dots on stage.

I don't think it's the mud or that they cared about. I think it's the message that mattered the most: Peace, Love & Music. Love, most importantly. I am told that the overwhelming amount of love was really powerful at Woodstock.

I don't like mud either. But I would sit in it, or even roll in it to stand up for something I believe in. And peace, love & music is something I believe in strongly.

I am naive. But I don't quit on the things I believe in. Peace & love isn't impossible. It's those who are outwardly negative and don't believe in anything that are impossible. It is people like that who I feel bad for. We all deserve love.

Mmm. Anyway, just what I think.

And yes, the actual mud and the rain is a hideous thing. But the message it stood for is really powerful and beautiful.

Do not ever quit on the things you believe in.When you stop to believe, you die inside and then it is the end.
Do not tie down your spirit,feed it on good things ,because this is the crucial period for for you to build up your personality.And enjoy your youth.A heavy life crap will come later , and you must be ready for it.

I've already found love. I never did give up. And I never will.

Yes. Those who give up aren't giving up on love or peace, nothing like that. They're very simply giving up on themselves. And when you give up on yourself, you've also given up on the ability to believe in others.

The people who are negative, that I've come across, don't believe in love or peace, don't believe in positivity, and most of all - they don't believe in themself. And that causes them to not believe in others. They walk around with a grumpy face, ready to judge anyone and anything they may or may not like.

It's usually these people who flock to me (haha, that's my luck, right?) and like to kill that ray of light that they used to have, and find in me. And you know what? That's only helped me see what jerks some people can really be.
