so my name is john leo ridgley. i'm 18, i live with my dad and i'm going away this summer out of the country to start my own life and live my own dreams. i had no parents when i was a kid, my parents left us when i was 2. so my granmum took us in and she was the best parent anyone could wish for. she opend my eyes to all the music i enjoy. she was there during woodstock, she saw elvis perform. more importantly, she was there to raise me. she shaped me to what i am now, and i love what i am. i'm a self employed artist as a muralist. meaning i get into my high state of mind and paint trippy picture on peoples walls. this is me, john leo ridgley.

Oh, um...okay, I'm relatively new, so...hi.

You can just call me Wolf. I'm 16 years old (youngest person on here, I think) and I have Asperger's Syndrome and ADHD. So if I don't make sense or something sometimes, that's probably why.

I first heard the Airplane about two years ago. It was on a CD mix of 60's stuff, and White Rabbit was on it. I liked it, so I borrowed Worst Of from my aunt (who got me into all this, and is the only person I know who's actually been to an Airplane concert) and immediately fell in love with the band. I also don't like Grace that much. Shocking, I know. I mean, I recognize that she's got some serious talent, but...not my thing, y'know?

I grew up listening to Revolver and Abbey Road, so I'm pretty much stuck with a 60's mindset. Hell, 60's and 70's is all I listen to. I can't stand the stuff that my generation is really into today. Take that, other people's expectations! My favorite three bands are (in order) Jefferson Airplane, The Beatles, and The Doors.

Aaaand I'll stop taking up space with my rambling now. >_>

This was back in the 60's when they suddenly discovered that some rock groups might be using drugs. they were afraid that we my be turned into one of those horrible commie long hair dope fiends I guess. The (gag) Monkees were ok but any of the real goups were off limits. (Of course you know how well that works ) They did not have very open minds in some areas though they did mellow with age.
