I'm fairly new to JA and am OBSESSED! got the book, bought the t-shirt etc. I'm convinced Aerie (gang of eagles) is the greatest song ever, perfect in every way. What other favourites are there?

That's my all time winner of JA.

2nd it's Ballad of you & me & Pooneil
Again from the DVD Fly JA.
That thing got the right rhythm....

The versions of Lather & Crown of Creation
on this DVD are a bit special,
Grace did some black make-up on her face,
and that BlackPanther thing on the end.

Yes, for me is that DVD the best you can get !
And there is some info on the DVD, some pictures.
Sound & Picture quality is 1000% OK!
Feed your head = by watching the show & hearing.
It's because i like to see the great sounds of JA.

I've been digging "Go to Her" (not originally on any of their albums)and "Fat Angel" (Donovan's song) lately.
But "3/5 of a Mile in 10 seconds" really has it all?

Lately I've been diggin their live stuff. ATM I (like above) am really into "Fat Angel" and the version of "Plastic Fantastic Lover" on BIPLH.

OOO I almost forgot "Uncle Sam Blues". Killer song!

Of course, there is "Somebody to Love" and "White Rabbit." Everyone would probably mention the previous two. I would also like to throw out there: "Martha," "Lather," "Two Heads," "We Should Be Together," and "Crown of Creation" as some of my favorites.

My personal favorites are "The Ballad of You & Me & Pooneil" (live long version on Baxter's bonus tracks) and "We Can Be Together".

Songs that REALLY let everyone in the band show off what they can do, and with fantastic results!

house at pooneil corners: just finished watching the dvd while drinking a full bottle of wine - absolutely wonderful - the song and the wine! White Rabbit, however, is THE song of the sixties, from anyone, as far as I am concerned.

- Somebody to love (from Surrrealistic Pillow)
- Saturday/Wont you try (from the Woodstock gig)
- Today (from Surr. Pillow)
- High flyin Bird (Live at Monterey especially on DVD)

But I haven´t still listen to Bathing at Baxters, Volunteers (like wooden ships perhaps), Mexico?, Bark, Takes off.
Exciting what I will find there.
