Yeah Rob...

"Children Of The Sun"... Now THAT's the JAM!!!

It was Billy Thorpe's only real hit here in The States... I LOVE it!!!

It is STILL played on our "classic-rock" -format radio stations...

In fact I heard it just this morning!!!

What i never knew before was that Billy went WAY back to the 1960's with THE AZTECS!!!

Were those guys cool or what???

:D :D Yeah they were cool back in '63 (I was only 5!!)......
Originally a four piece instrumental group who had put out one surfing instrumental, "Smoke & Stack", they formed in Sydney in 1963. With the advent of the Merseybeat sound, they added a lead singer, Billy Thorpe. His powerful voice and showmanship (which made him one of the most popular and respected rock performers in Australian music), completed the original line-up, which comprised of drummer Col Baigent, bassist John "Bluey" Watson and guitarists Tony Barber and Vince Maloney (who later played with The Bee Gees).

DUDE!!! That BIRTHDAY PARTY footage was GREAT!!!

I used to have a bunch of their stuff on vinyl, but have NEVER seen even ONE of their videos!!!

Problem is, I could not get even ONE of them to play!?!?!?!

It kept telling me "Could not donload file"... No big deal... I just wanted to watch that stuff once or twice...

But even when I clicked the ">" PLAY, then nothing happened!!!

Bummer... I really wanted to check out the JIMI stuff and GRATEFUL DEAD live at Woodstock that I have never seen...

Any ideas???

However-- Before I start right-clicking and save-targeting, I am curious to know exactly WHAT all of this tuff actually IS!

Are these bootlegs? Are they safe for downloads (I have been having some computer issues, like some virus wiped out my hard drive and I had to start from scratch-- OUCH!!!)

So...

What IS this stuff?
Is it good?
Is it safe?
Does it ROCK???

2. Click on User Control Panel up at the top
3. Click the last tab, Friends & Foes
4. On the side, click on Manage Foes
5. In the space provided, type anuspoop, or whatever name he is using

Here is a link that you may want to add to your list. The Airplane, along with the Dead, are the quiutessence of a time and place that not only nutured their birth but enlarged both their creativity and the depth of that period. This link provides the kind of overview that any fan of JA needs in order to develop the kind of feel for the 60s that can make appreciation of the Plane an even greater high!
