Thanks for all the emaisl today and it is my pleasure to share with the great people like yourself.

I have always let people know when they are so surprised that I answer every email and keep posting the treasures at the site that an author doesn't do anyone a favor. It is the hard working fine people on this board that do the authors a favor.

I never have forgotten that rule. I am thankful for each and everyone of you helping with the book.

To all those that sent emails on the boards, private messages and directly, thanks for making your positive thoughts for my dad being known.

If all goes well today he will be transfered from the hospital to a rehabilitation facility. I hope he is getting closer to being well.

There have bee nso many great folks on this site since I made mention of the book. It is appreciated and it is great getting all the questions and comments.

It would be great to bring Grace that 2nd copy

That is really cool that the book may come out on or about Grace's birthday!

It is in the proof stage and can go either way for late October or November but it is great the book can have almost the same birthday as Ms. Slick.

The prood of the book takes a bit of time, the main reason is the index changes when you go from a Word Document to a book format. Page 4 may become page 5. This means I have to go through the index.

One hold up is I am attempting to put another rare photo that will blow you all away. One from 65 and one from 66.

Hi Psychhead and the rest of the fine flyers:

The days have been busy between seeing my dad in the hospital and working on the proof of the book. I can't wait until the J.A. Family fans can see the photos I am using. From a 1963 shot to a Great Society photo, one with the original bass-player Bard and one one with the replacement Peter, to 66 Pillow time, etc, the photos alone are worth the look through the book.

I spent the past 7 hours going through the final stage of the first proof.

We are getting closer.

I would not be surprised if I will start to need glasses soon, but that is cool as long as the book gets done correctly!
