JS Donating Rights at RIC 75th Party

Quote from Rickenbacker CEO:

"The Jefferson Startship has donated soundboard recording rights to the Museum of Making Music should they wish to offer a CD. The other artists will all be asked if they'd care to 'donate' as well."

Very cool of them.

This is very cool!
But why is Paul, who I know as an electric player, doing an acoustic (solo?) benefit, for the celebration of the electric guitar??
Has Les Paul been informed of all this hoopla???
It's good times now - I can see the light!

Paul does play acoustic also. The tricky part is that he plays a Guild acoustic, not a Rickenbacker.
Paul will do an acoustic set on Friday or Saturday (I forget).
Starship will do the big concert at House of Blues along with other acts (Chris Squire, Susanna Hoffs, etc.).
