Here's a review of the new Hot Tuna best of set:

Also looks like a fall tour is in the works too. Hopefully it will be a bit more extensive than the summer jaunt...

I didn't really ask them anything, we just talked about the show and stuff. I guess they really liked the venue, so hopefully they will come back next year. Barry said they were the best he's seen.

Well, hopefully they will attend The Netherlands in de near future.
That would be far out...
I like artists who are willing to communicate with fans.
Jorma and Jack seem to be like that.

Off topic; how are the Hot Tuna albums, I don't know their music.
It's hard to get in my country compared to Jefferson Airplane and solo albums.

(p.s. Sam I also responded in your bye topic)

their music is really good, but it isn't like Jefferson Airplane. They did Embryonic Journey last night, but usually they don't do any airplane songs.

If you want to see and hear it ?
Go to the Grateful Dead closing Winterland topic....

Good job getting some Hot Tuna to the needy, CD - and I thought that Dead at Winterland was tops, too!
Looks like I'm finally able to post here again - on the home computer... Big crackdown at work - but I escaped the major "layoffs", as they were termed, today.
Also saw Hot Tuna last weekend - Jorma looked like he was really enjoying David Bromberg on stage with him, but Jack was too subdued...
Already yearning for the next possible show to see...
It's good times now - I can see the light!
