I started an Art thread a while back without guessing it would end up focusing on the Art of Grace Slick (duh! )
And didn't have the heart to say before (and start CD off) but.............
In my opinion Graces art is not good. She could hold her own in art school, but there seems to me to be no real flair, instinct or imagination in anything she has done. Just mediocre technique. Janis work on the other hand is natural and brilliant. Just my opinion. Look out bad dogs are coming

Being more of a music freak than an art freak, I'd naturally give Grace 10+ points out of ten for her vocals

you should make a copy of it on a printer.
Than swap it with your mom's copy.....

i really do like janis's art better. grace's is cool and all but i dunno.... it doesnt really feel like theres much emotion behind it.
does anyone else get that feeling or is it just me?

Honestly, I can't distinguish her "Janis Joplin" on 9-11 from Yoko Ono And so on.

Grace's art is very special and recognizable for us.
I mean...we all know Jerry and Jimi, and she paints the most beautiful paintings about that period and that artists.
