8) :D I truly believe that many people vote in total IGNORANCE...look at Italy for example: the MAJORITY of Italians voted DEMOCRATICALLY, but IGNORANTLY, for an ILLEGIT govt. in '94 and RENEWED this ILLEGIT govt. years later and only now they sent it out of business (seemingly?! :?: ). Why were they IGNORANT?! Because article 12 of the Italian WRITTEN CONSTITUTION practically bans SINCE WWII any political party having any ties DIRECTLY or INDIRECTLY with any right-wing Fascist party...the DIRECT desendants of that INFAMOUS party came back and the IGNORANT people voted for them!
Most of the time, the people get what they deserve

Hey CD, no info on Grace, but a piece of trivia from Jack: it WAS cold on that rooftop and the coat Jack was wearing was borrowed from some girl!

On the other subject, I believe we all have free will, and we're all responsible for the actions of those in our respective governments, whether we elected them or allow them to take power and rule in the absence of our actions. Too many people have the attitude that "there's nothing they can do" and abrogate their responsibilities because its' the path of least resistence. The "Rock The Vote" movement here in America actually did get more people to vote. The depressing part was the lack of thought that went into the voting. One young woman was interviewed on the subject and placed the blame on the performers saying"yes, they told us to vote, but they forgot to tell us who to vote for" :!: :!: :!: :x :x

The short-lived "revolution" here that forced Nixon and Ford out and brought a patch of clear air and sunlight into government came about because a lot of individuals were tired of the crap and weren't gonna take it any more, not because of any one person who made a difference. That's the essence of democracy, but democracy cannot but fail in the face of complacence and apathy. The musicians of the time were the personification of what everyone was feeling and created a feeling of unity. That seems to be conspicuously missing these days.

[Hey, where'd that soapbox come from???]

:D :D Hey, the dog near the steering wheel looks very much like Minù, the dog I had in Australia. He was given to me as a pup by a French family because their chihuahua used to scare him:lol:

a shepherd dog scared by a chihuahua??there is no logical explanation for this :) maybe it's because these chihuahuas looks like little monsters.

:D  There really is a logical explanation...you see, chihuahuas are what the experts call noble dogs and given their minute size, they can only "defend" themselves by proudly barking till they drop if you let 'em!!!!!! This continous barking and face-pulling makes the bigger dogs go crazy!!!!
