Talkbox ,Vocoder & Wah wah's

I just listen to these guitarplayers.
Peter Frampton - Show Me The Way and other songs.
Steve Miller - The Joker and other songs.
They are using great guitar effects....

Imagine you talk like your guitar sounds !
Peter Frampton did that years ago !
Get Frampton Comes Alive!
Steve Miller used more common things.

Peter Frampton

Pig stain on your fat chin, sayin' keep on diggin'...

Postby jimmie ray on Tue Mar 07, 2006 10:02 am

I was wondering if those freaky pig noises toward the end of "Pigs" on Pink Floyd's "Animals" album were made by David Gilmour messing around with that stuff?
It's good times now - I can see the light!

way back in the 70's I heard an old fella in the street say
something along the lines of 'did you see that bloody
hippy (Frampton) on stage with a bloody tube in his gob.
Drugs aren't so clever now are they' I don't know what he
thought the tube was for. The mind boggles!

If it is the same prof. Stephen Hawking from that book
"a brief history of time..." then it is a bad joke !
And it's Hawking not Hawkins !.

He is like Einstein ,Newton and other genius people.
He can't tell you his visions and thoughts,
he needs a speech-synth. computer to tell people
what he need or what he wants to do etc. etc.

Einstein frequently had to be taken home as he would forget where he lived :? It has been suggested that he may have been autistic. Great people will achieve great things despite any 'disability' Now that's what I call real equality. sorry I've taken this so far off topic by the way.

The same question about keyboards ?
Some bands have a whole stage full of
keyboards of any brand any kind......
Moog's ,Korg's , Yamaha's ,Hammonds etc etc.
Maybe a grandpiano ,just to be a big band ?

Is there somebody who knows ; Nektar
Songs ; Wings , Do You Believe In Magic ?
