Not bought anything - too expensive i'm afraid, but good downloads of screensavers, etc.

I highly recommend that you all check out Wolfgang's Vault's streaming radio. Really great stuff - Airplane to Sex Pistols. Can't wait til they start releasing some of these shows.

Do you think they have uncirculating shows?
till now they broadcast only songs from previously circulating Jefferson Airplane shows:

10/15/66 Fillmore Auditorium
10/16/66 Fillmore Auditorium
11/06/66 Fillmore Auditorium
11/26/66 Fillmore Auditorium
01/08/67 Webster Hall (the only rarity)
02/04/67 Fillmore Auditorium ( Fat Angel, now in rotation is from another show...)
11/03/67 Winterland ??? (probably 03/11/67)
01/30/68 Matrix
11/28/68 Fillmore East(one of the recorded gigs for Bless Its Pointed...)

Question for fans of THE INCREDIBLE STRING BAND :
Now in rotation:
Cutting The Strings and Robot Blues- 05/16/68
2 songs from the 1970 U album in a 1968 show??? probably another error of Vault Radio?....

Not so unusual?

Postby jimmie ray on Wed Mar 15, 2006 4:37 pm

I'm not at all familiar with that group - although I should be, they were at Woodstock?
But wasn't it quite common for groups of that era to do songs live that would much later appear on studio albums?
The Grateful Dead come to mind...

I am a huge fan of the Incredible String Band. No pun intended. Yes it was. (One of their albums is called "The Big Huge.")

Yes, they were at Woodstock. They did a short set on Saturday or Sunday afternoon. (I forget.)

But I'm not exactly sure what you're asking. If they performed "U" live (which they did) then that is a legitimate thing to put on Wolfgang's Vault.

So, what is it exactly you would like to know?

"U" is a 1970 album...so i think the two songs broadcasted aren't from Fillmore Auditorium 1968 but from a 1970 show (or i'm wrong and they performed Robot Blues and Cutting The Strings in May 1968???)

Hope you're right!...a 1968 ISB show would be more interesting than a 1970.....

Well, just throwing a possibility out there...
And how many tunes did Hot Tuna play live, back then, that wound up on albums much later?
