The producer Sylvester STEWART is Sly of the Family Stone?

I knew he produced many bands but I thought it was some RnB or soul stuff...

What a big man!!!!

Free Advice is my favorite Great Society song. All three versions are groovy. Their take on Somebody to Love doesn't thrill me as much as White Rabbit. I love the instrumental opening that didn't make JA's cut. It made the song a bit lopsided, but hey, it's about drugs, so logic and proportion have fallen sloppy dead, you dig?

I wish the sound quality was better on their two officially released cds, but they're a lot better than nothing.

Yes, one and the same.
He was a radio disc jockey and producer before forming The Stoners.
