I do actually have music for it. Writing songs is just about the most fun I can have, and I'm getting better at it. As soon as I get some stuff up on youtube, I'll post links. I have one song up already, but my vocal sounds bad.

We need more actual songwriters today.I think record companies cornered what was popular in music in the 1980s, and demolished actual songwriting, and just create a beat to dance to with words that they can make a music video around today, and give it to the next "hottest" woman who will wear the least clothes and shake the most ass.Im sick of the music industry today.Sick of it.

Im really liking your song plasticfantastic, you got a name for it?I would post some of my stuff but Im too heavily influenced by the likes of King Crimson and Pink Floyd that I doubt it will make much sense here unless you are familiar with them.

I agree. The music industry is nearly dead, but hopefully more good songwriters and singers with substance will save it... I hope... Music now is all about the surface now, not what's inside of it. Our society has become too superficial to care about songs with meaning. Music became all about money in the latter part of the 20th century, and it still hasn't really recovered.

Right now, the song's working title is "Nobody's Gonna Change The World", but that could always change. I will post this song on youtube once I get a chance to record it, but I can now post the complete lyrics I came up with:

I have absolutely no musical talent, so that is what I'm about to show you.

These are more thoughts, than lyrics or a song.

Until one day the Governments called for another foreign war

By the way, I decided to post a link to the youtube video of one of my songs that I posted earlier. NOT a good take, and I sound terrible, but if you like my songwriting, you may like it. I wrote it with a friend early last year, and both of us have improved in many respects since we recorded this. It's not like any other song I've written, much softer and folkier than most of mine, but is nevertheless okay.

...I guess I can post a song of mine.I call it Subconscience Part One(its a two-parter).Its still incomplete though, needs work, and a line or two wont make sense, and its also not near my best, so dont judge too harshly.

I changed the next line to

Didn't want to leave the coffee drinkers out...and it sounded like teas and cancer cures were 2 different things.

Thanks!Im so glad you all liked it!I still dont have music composed for it though.I just got a new guitar, lost my old one in a pawn a year ago and I havent guitar played since, just bass, and I cant sing.I also dont have recordings, and wouldnt know how to get them onto my computer.And I would love to hear more of your songs plasticfantastic!That song you put on youtube is not only beautiful, but it really echoes success.Not just saying it, you could really be a successful musician.
