Where can I meet or see Grace Slick ?

Hi,
I am the original poster and the "stalking" and being "creepy" is extremely mean-spirited.

All I wanted to do was to see a legend. What is creepy about that? Imagine if no one had any interest in seeing Grace or any other star from the 60's and 70's. They would all be working at McDonalds.

Well since you seem to know the inner thoughts of Grace Slick's mind, you might be well advised to listen to some of the things she has said on this very subject. For example, some of the improvisational raps from live recordings circa 1970, clearly expressing her distaste for the whole idol-worship celebrity cult-of-personality phenomenon.

In fact, the very nature of her lyrical and sociopolitical stance reflects a clear contempt for those sorts of old-fashioned class divisions and bourgeois elitist fantasies.

In your original post you expressed a very alarmingly intense urge to meet Ms. Slick, and compared this fanatical devotion to that of millions of Elvis-worshippers on their pilgrimage to see the "king".

Remember the guy that murdered John Lennon? He was a "huge fan", too..

Recently, Ms. Slick has been in relative seclusion, no doubt in part to avoid such "creepy... stalker" type people.

I would suggest if you want to meet celebrities, why not pick up the latest copy of PEOPLE magazine, or watch E! television? There you will find ALL kinds of ready-made celebrities, pre-packaged for your enjoyment so that your empty life can be vicariously fulfilled through their action-packed jet-set exploits.

But if you keep on bothering Grace--

I will give you the benefit of the doubt and pre-suppose that you do not actually mean to harm or molest her. But having said that, I question why it is so important for you to impose yourself upon someone who so obviously shuns the type of worshipful adoration which you so creepily personify.
