Where can I meet or see Grace Slick ?

I just feel the need to see Ms. Slick in person. She is such a legend and I don't want to miss an opportunity. Its like Elvis fans who regret they can never see Elvis. They should have caught a glimpse of Elvis while he was alive.

Grace Slick is the Elvis to millions. Grace, why not have a cd signing somewhere? Why not have an art show?

you usually think of her as the lead singer
with Jefferson Airplane.She may have stopped
singing but her creative work continues
through her art. We got an introduction
to the Fingerhut Gallery in Carmel
and found that her art was in good company
alongside such artists as Picasso, Rembrandt,

about Grace Slick.She's not singing anymore

Grace talks with Bill Phillips about various
aspects of her art; how she begins a piece,
how she arrives at a particular style,
and her choice of materials. If you've seen
Grace Slick Art Show Part 1, you know how different
from each other her paintings can be.

Part 2

Grace talks about how she creates a new work,
from sketches, to photocopies, to the final piece,
using acrylics. When looking at the artwork
of others for herself personally,
she doesn't consider what it costs
or even who created it as a reason for liking
or disliking a piece.If the image impresses her,
that's the main thing and apparently
she wants others to consider her art the same way.
She also talks about her challenges in working alone
as opposed to being a creative member of a band.

Grace talks about Planet Earth Rock and Roll Orchestra,
going on the road touring, and her the thoughts

From my understanding, you don't really get to meet her at these shows unless you buy a print, which she'll sign for you. She's normally behind a table with pen in hand the entire time. The last show that she did was in Orange Co, (so. CA) in October. Prints start at $700 and up, just FYI.

Personally - I have no inclinations to meet anyone famous, regardless of whether they are open to it or not. I really wouldn't even know what to say, that they haven't already heard a thousand times...
Seeing a good musician or singer actually perform is something that is a thrill, and honor, of course. Many people are overly critical about musicians that are past their prime, or supposedly embarrassing themselves - if the audience is just enjoying seeing them, and some nostalgic moments are created, why not let it be?
Since Grace does do art shows, I don't see anything "creepy" about people going to catch a glimpse of her or possibly greet her. Maybe at this time, she is too overwhelmed with things to deal with that. But no one is talking about "stalking" her (at least not in this thread)!

I'd like to say that I have the best mother ever. We were in a gallery because a painting of Jerry Garcia caught our eye and it was by none other than Grace Slick! We actually bought one of her paintings, "The Red Queen" and it's beautiful! Grace is having an art show here in the fall and we're going to go. I'm very excited. Not just for Grace Slick the singer, but Grace the artist, because I really love her art. My mom said that "you'll get it when I die" and I said, "I WILL pry it out of your cold dead hands" having some fun.
I'm very excited to see more of her art.

Hi,
I am the original poster and the "stalking" and being "creepy" is extremely mean-spirited.

All I wanted to do was to see a legend. What is creepy about that? Imagine if no one had any interest in seeing Grace or any other star from the 60's and 70's. They would all be working at McDonalds.

Grace thanks her lucky stars people are still interested enough to come out to see her.
