You have the song too. Or the lyrics to it. The Change the World one. It could be the theme song to the ROP.

Thanks so much.

It's one I've been meaning to record, so I'll upload it soon. I just need to work out some bugs in the melody...

Cool MG!

Here's link a link to my son's friend's band Iris i.

Somehow, I think you'll like their music. I like the sound, but will have to suggest to Dan that he turn his mike up. They don't listen to any 60s music I'm pretty sure. We'll my son doesn't, but I'll have to ask Dan.

Hey babson, Did you see? The aliens have already left. Maybe they didn't like your greetings. Humorless bastards.

Damn, I thought so too. Oh well. They're bound to get the "Across the Universe" that we sent into deep space in just a few light-years.

Have YOU seen the saucers, Redrabid? :)

I know I've seen the saucers but I feel alone and cant break the wall between my mind and the light.Existence seems to get in the way when free thought breaks out and tries to take the scene.I try to remove everything I see but I feel I'm high and tripping at the same time but I've never taken any of that.So I just light some incense and listen to Blows Against the Empire and pretend that I am not here.

I obviously have no idea what I'm talking about or what the conversation entangles.

Thanks for the link, Babson. They sound really good! Kind of remind me of the bands "Tool" and "A Perfect Circle". I used to be real big into them before the Airplane obsession started a few years back. Definitely nice to hear newer bands out there that have a powerful sound, but play with feeling and have an actual singer that doesn't constantly scream like a stuck pig.
Also, I love that black/white ghost picture at the top of their page!

The mind comes from the light, ER, there's no wall. But wait, there's more! "Beyond the light of life is the peaceful silence of the void." (And other things I memorised a long time ago.)

How long it's been since I saw the reality of this. All of six months!

The mind comes from the light, that helps. But, only sometimes I can see through things and act as myself, which I believe I am insane, but something blocks it, creating a wall of sorts, but only I can destroy the wall, and truly see the real "saucers", which is everyone as they are.

"Picture the world as a huge scientific laboratory with all the people being tested in a fantastic self-experiment.If man can make it through the maze of problems he has set up for himself, then and only then, will he be the man of the future - the man of the future must be created!Home is where the fart is." - Fred Smith, 1971

Hell yeah! This thread has now taken a turn for the metaphysical. What's up next?

Everyone on earth has difficulty seeing themselves, and others, as they really are. Our perceptions are influenced by our cultural (and that is, the world as cultural) idealism, combined with occasional self-degradation, which of course makes our perceptions more negative. Because human perception is such a fallible, inconsequent thing, it is really impossible to truly see people the way they are.

Even so, I think everyone shares your wish, ER.

I'm looking for the freedom people like Jim Morrison and Keith Moon had. That freedom to do whatever you want whenever you want.Modern society has imprinted into our minds that what we see as abnormal is to be fought against, but really those actions are what we should be embracing anymore as everything seems to be falling apart.I'm sick of the status quo, when when I try to act normal people call me a freak.I'm done with it.If I wanna howl to the moon at night, then SO BE IT!If I wanna smash old broken TV sets, then SO BE IT!
