HAPPY BIRTHDAY JORMA!

Postby plasticfantastic on Wed Dec 23, 2009 5:00 pm

69 this year, if I am not mistaken. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my (and probably much of this forum's) favorite guitarist!

Thank you, Jorma, for your talent, bluesy-ness, amazing Epiphone Riviera, great songs, stripy shirts, and so, so much more. We humble folk at the Airplane forum wish you the very best.
Trouble in mind, lord I'm blue
But I won't be blue always
The sun's gonna shine in my door,
Shine in my back door someday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JORMA!Thank you so much for your music, for without, I would not have had the most inspiration to become a musician and pick up guitar.Best wishes!

Happy birthday Jorma! I would like to thank you for doing Uncle Sam's Blues at Woodstock. That took some courage. I had been drafted, and had 3 more weeks to boot camp. I had a girlfriend, and friends then, and I felt the same way. "Do any of you realize I'm going off to war."

Long time ago
Gone for soldiers every one
