Ok, im sure we all know about the Family Dog DVD from 1970, and the video of The Ballad of You and Me and Pooneil with the awesome jam, which has made it the best version of the song ive heard, although it only clocks at 7-8 minutes, shorter than most boots.Well, i just got this boot from the Family Dog, supposedly dated from 13/6/1969.It was from a Radio broadcast.Anyway, the audio of Ballad is EXACTLY the same as the video, and the video dates from supposedly 4/2/1970!Can someone explain this.Im listening to Eskimo Blue Day from the same show, and it sounds exactly the same too!So, is it 13/6/1969 or 4/2/1970!?I wanna guess its 13/6/1969 because the bands to good, i havent heard too many boots from 1970, but i know the band wasnt exactly in tip-top form.As soon as the 70s began they began to fall apart both line-up wise and performance wise. This also brings up the question, because im pretty sure they are both the same performance, was the whole thing filmed? If so, that means we have YET another whole JA concert filmed but not in circulative whole, and i hate that.
