When Jorma recently saw the movie "Young at Heart" about a chorus of octogenarians singing classic rock songs he was blown away! So much so that it inspired him to write this letter:
"My wife and I saw and loved the Young At Heart movie. Actually, at
68 it made me feel like a youngster which is always a good thing.
When I heard the Young At Heart Chorus was doing Airplane songs this
year, I flipped. With the Fortieth Anniversary of Woodstock and all
of us getting a little older each year, it doesn't get much better
than this! We of the Airplane are flattered that you have chosen
some of our songs and we know that you will do them proud! Music is
for all people, all the time. You are all keeping this tradition
alive. Rock out and may there be many songs left for you to sing!"
