Jefferson Airplane Farm

My parents bought some land in the country that had been subdivided from one farm. They told me that they had seen the deed for the land when it was all one property with about 30-40 acres with a house and all, and that Jefferson Airplane had owned the land in the late 70's or early 80's. Does anyone know if that is true? This land is in Nebraska and I have tried to fact check this info, but haven't come up with anything.

Jorma owns a lot of land today where his Fur Peace Ranch is, but that's in Ohio. Never heard of the band owning anything in Nebraska.
