Volunteers solo tab?

Postby PrayForPlagues on Sun Aug 09, 2009 2:18 am

I'm new to the board, but I'm a huge JA fan and I love playing their songs. I hope I'm not putting this in the wrong place!
Does anyone have a guitar tab for the solo to "Volunteers"? I can play all the song except for the solo, and I can't seem to get it by ear. :/
JA tabs are difficult to find.

Hi, and welcome!

I'm not a musician, but there are members here that are, and am sure you can find some help.

In the mean time, I may try to look around and see what I can find.

During the solo play like in the verse , and same in the last verse.
It seems to sound pretty good (to me at least :p ).

Have fun!

Well, first of all, that's not the solo TAB, those are the chords and are pasted straight from the Internet.
It is also doesn't really convey how the chords are spaced out.
If you listen to the song you'll probably figure it out.

It's two bangs on the G.
The rest is F.
Just before returning to the G there is about a beat and a half C passing chord.

Also, for those interested, Paul know plays the song (and "The Other Side of This Life") in Drop-D tuning capo'ed at the fifth fret.
