I have a tape of this song sung by Marty. Very electric & definitely with Jorma & Jack. Anyone know who wrote this song & if it was in a JA or Tuna concert? My tape says 1970 but seems to be a mix of different shows, as there are two different versions of Up or Down on it. Any thoughts?

You are one lucky guy.

I have never heard or known about this either, but Marty DID sing on a bunch of very early HOT TUNA shows (recordings?)...

You may have a gold-mine in your hands (NOT to encourage "bootlegging" for moneys) because I know of no other recordings with this Marty-infused HOT TUNA...

I bet it sounds GREAT!!!

That's the show all right. Someone added another version of Up or Down at the end. It's an audience tape so not primo sound quality, but quite listenable. Thanks for the info.
