40th Anniversary of Woodstock

Postby TravelColleen on Tue Jun 09, 2009 10:37 pm

Does anybody know if any of the Jefferson Airplane band members will be performing at any Woodstock events this year? Would anybody consider going on a WOODSTOCK CRUISE??

Sort of agree with you, CD. But the Dead are a COMMUNITY, not just a rock group, and I expect them to go on forever in one form or another. That's what I like about them, though I'm not that keen on their music

I actually heard that at the big reunion, Starship will be doing the music of Airplane. Tear-tear.

I haven't heard about anything else they're doing. As we know, Grace is semi-retired (?), so I doubt she woud be doing much with the band anyway. Until I hear more, I'll just use the good ol' method of wishful thinking, and hope that they will end up doing something. That would be amazing.
