LatherPCL has boarded Jefferson Airplane

This "Lather" turned 37, September 24, 1971. I would like to say hello to everyone. I am a male from Charlotte, NC. My first Jefferson Airplane CD was "The 2400 Fulton Street Collection" back in 1987 when I was 16. Although my first "Jefferson" experience was with songs like "Sara" and "We Built This City". Which do I like better, Airplane Or Starship? It's a tie. I've read Grace Slick's auto-biography. I like the picture she drew of herself with a gun for a mouth; a picture that is a play on words meaning that she likes to shoot her mouth off. I identify with that picture. I like to shoot my mouth off too. Her auto-biography is really great. She didn't hold back on anything and I am glad she is still here today even if it is just as an artist. How's about this for being a die-hard Grace Slick fan? I bought the complete works of Lewis Carrol just because she sang "White Rabbit". Well, that is my intro. I look forward to contributing more.

My JA Collection so far:
Jefferson Airplane Takes Off(1966)
Surrealistic Pillow(1967)
After Bathing At Baxter's(1967)
Crown Of Creation(1968)
Bless It's Pointed Little Head(1969)
Volunteers(1969)
The 2400 Fulton Street Collection(1987)
Jefferson Airplane(1989)

The "Bark/Long John Silver" 2 CD set and "Worst Of Jefferson Airplane" are next on my list of JA CDs to collect.

Thanks for the welcome. I hope that I can provide some good things for all to read. Much as I try, I cannot find a decade of music better than the 60s. Jefferson Airplane was one of the best parts about the 60s.

Thanks. It's great to have a place that celebrates one of the best groups in rock history.
