Does anyone have the Volunteers CD booklet?

Postby graceslick on Thu Dec 13, 2007 7:24 am

I bought Volunteers on CD a while ago on Ebay, but the book was wrong. (Have I already posted this on here? *mental blank* Sorry if I have. My old age of 29 is catching up with me lately and I forget many things)

The outer part of the book (front and back page) was Volunteers, but all the inside was the pages from Surrealistic Pillow, which I already have.

Oh my god, I just realised I HAVE posted this before!! Oh well. Here it is again. lol

If anyone wants to sell me the right Volunteers book, let me know, ok? And conversely, if anyone has been stuck with the wrong Surrealistic Pillow book and has instead received the Volunteers bits, we can swap.

Thank you. :D

in my cd there is an original booklet, but unfortunatly much of the text is so little and narrrow, that one cannot read it, for eample the song-texts

I bought it at the store and that same thing with the wrong inside-booklet happened to me... Then I saw a copy at another store where they display the cases opened and it ALSO had a wrong inside-booklet...

I ended up returning mine and they re-re-ordered it and I ended up with a Spanish copy with the right booklet but the old pressing without the "new" live songs!!! :x

...

I have the Surrealistic Pillow liner notes for that edition of the release...with the Volunteers notes in the center. It's like that in all of them, it seems...

Just wondering, does anyone have the correct liner notes from page 3 on, for the remastered Volunteers on RCA/BMG Heritage cat no. 82876 61642 2? Perhaps I could get a copy of the correct ones!! Cant believe someone in production didn't catch this, putting in the Surrealistic Pillow notes!!

Thanks for that, CD. That's great.

I actually find all this quite hilarious right now for some reason. I started this thread a while back, thinking it was just me who got the wrong booklet, but nope. It really makes me laugh.
