What's interesting about the song is how it starts out fast and slows down at the end.

Don't know how many songs to that in some cases they do that in the middle but pick up again.

Alot of 70's pogressive rock songs are like that, the ending being nothing at all like the begining of the song.

The instrumentality and song composition is sublime, but for me, the best part of "Crown of Creation" is the lyrics.

Heavily thought-provoking, inspiring, insurgent, iconoclastic, and questioning, if not stridently defying, all that is "acceptable" and "established"...

Like a precisely-aimed bow-shot right to the foul and polluted heart of the earth-poisoning, mass-mind-controlling, war-mongering military-industrial machine and all of it's "fork-tongued liar" political puppets who seek to control and enslave all of us peaceful, loving free spirits of virtue and kindness.

That song just flat-out NAILS IT like almost NO other.

The ONLY solution is a peaceful PEOPLES' REVOLUTION.
