In any case, it was just a very brief thing about how the song didn't do so well and people expected more from that particular collaboration but that the public wasn't really ready for a whole song about Grace having her period. Those last several words were the exact words I read in this book, whatever it is.
So yeah...now that I know this, the lyrics do make (a bit) more sense...sort of. Somehow it makes sense...just the strange sort of chaos of it, the noises of somewhat pain and frustration or annoyance, the blood things mentioned, eating figs (I think they have iron in 'em)...lol

Where I am it's pretty mild. It's HOT and humid, but it's not like inferno conditions like it is further south.
