dejavu Retro recording

Postby chris on Fri Feb 02, 2007 10:18 am

Hi
this probably isn't a 'new topic' but my wife bought a cd set titled 'Psychedelia san fransisco legends' Dejavu retro gold collection Numb R2CD.40-65. she bought it for the Airplane tracks but is wondering where the tracks are tacken from. She feels that they were, possibly, a live recording from a London gig. Can anyone tell me more
thanks

Sorry, i don't know about that CDset.
Maybe Indian Summer knows a bit of it ?

But is it this CDset ?

Hi
yes that does look like the cd set but the sleeve notes give practically no useful information, neither does the purchase site (or any other cd selling site that i've looked at). I was hoping that Airplane experts might recognise the tracks and their source.
still hoping :)
best wishes

Well, it's pretty impossible to tell without listening to them.
Are you sure they are live tracks?

Post the opening minute of a few of them (like 3/5 and Other Side) somewhere so I can give a listen.
