No, but I'm meeting Grace at an art show someday soon. :D
They are extremely uncomfortable with the idea that I am a teenage girl in the body of a 60 year old career criminal who has already died 16 times...

Hhmm...to say the truth...hhmm...
I did some downloads of videoclips and
MP3 files to see what it's worth...
I know Grace & JA just for 2 years i did
listen to other kinds of music, NOT JA.....
(Black Sabbath,Led Zep, Deep Purple etc.)

But at the end of 2004 i did download a
little videoclip ; JA - White Rabbits.
Jefferson Airplane ????
White Rabbits ?????????

The next link shows some pictures....
http://www.chromehorse.net/rants/rants2 ... _grace.htm

After watching that video i wanted to know
much more about that beautiful woman.
And the more i did read about Grace....
And her book Somebody to love....
More than just a great voice on some CDs...
At about 1967 /68 the music world was dominated
by men, on guitar/ bassguitar/ drums anything.
Janis Joplin and Grace Slick they where the first
women in that music world.
And if you look at her through the ages
she always looks very good, even she did smoke TO much.
Yes , I like her very very much....

A link to that videoclip...

This is maybe one of the oldest videoclips at all !
From 1967 , JA and White Rabbits and Somebody to love.

Met Kantner at a solo show he did in the 80s in Philly. Only about 20 people showed up, so he played his set, then came out & joined us at the bar.

No offence, but are you in the music biz or a really persistant stalker? I know you've said how you have connections before but a refresher would be most welcome. :D

Neither in the biz or a stalker. I met Paul and Marty at a show back in the 90's and after going to the NYC area shows whenever they toured I got to meet friends of theirs and was always asked to hang out. This led to meeting the different band members. I went to the UK on the JS 2002 tour, and went to the Fly JA DVD release. I met Signe, Spencer, and David Freiberg at the 2003 Marin reunion. I guess it was a matter of being at the right place at the right time. I met Jack when he played at The Turning Point when he released Dream Factor. Jorma at The Bottom Line when he released his last solo CD. Living around NYC gives many opportunities to see people play at small venues. Grace will be at an art gallery next Saturday about 15 minutes away from here, that will complete my meeting the entire band.

If you are near London there is a pub on Waldour St. called The Ship. A bunch of people meet there about once a month and discuss all things Jefferson. One fellow publishes a magazine called Holding Together. It is said to be the longest running magazine on all Jefferson related material. They are always looking for new people to join in. They trade CD's and DVD's of shows they have attended. I have been there a few times and if you are a Jefferson fan you are sure to have a good time. Cheers, Do

I think I've been to the ship. In soho right? Used to be the local boozer for the Clash and the Who I think. I rarely get to London now, I used to think nothing of finding myself stranded at 3am with no way to get home. Now I'm in bed by 10pm most nights. Thanks for the info. :D
