This song has always blown my mind. I never did own the single, but I had it on vinyl on Early Flight, and the live version on 30 Seconds Over Winterland. Lately I've had the 2400 Fulton St. compilation in the cd player non-stop. What an amazing track--singing, playing, lyrics!! And the same goes for "Mexico." That was one amazing Airplane single.
Question: who drums on Saucers? Still Dryden? Or had Covington stepped in by then?
Thanks!
