Bark

Hey all,

Don't know if this is any use to anyone, but just in case, the Airplane's 6th album, Bark, has been out of print a loooong time. I know I couldn't find it anywhere, cept online, where people were selling it used for like, 50 bucks a pop. Anyway, they must have got a new shipment or something, 'cause Amazon.com is selling this Japanese remaster of it for 10 bucks a pop.

So, if you've been looking for it, it's finally available.

Swear to Grace I'm not getting paid for this. heh.

Oh, hell if I know. I'm technologically impaired like that. I've never touched an Ipod. I just knew that the actual CD had been rare for awhile.

I have that Japanese version, and it sounds realy good (remastered and everything). It has some japanese writing on it but who cares.
It has even been released by BMG Japan (BMG has released all the other JE stuff too). Also bought Long John Silver which has been rereleased remastered (not by BMG Japan but by BMG Spain).
A real shame they don't see a market in these albums in the USA imho.
Go Japan and Spain 8)

I don't get it. How come Bark and LJS weren’t included in the 2004 re-release. Oh well, I got both on good old LP and I'm happy with that.

Grunt and Long John Silver weren't released under the RCA label, they were released under the Grunt label, so when RCA remastered all the Airplane albums, they only did the albums they released. Thats why it wasn't released with all the other CD's. Strange that they haven't gotten around to that because Grunt is just a subsidiary of RCA and Bark is a really good album too.
