"Superman" by The Clique. (There's several songs by that name, but this is the one that goes "I am - I am Superman, and I know what's happening...", sung by a Martian with a cod Northern accent.) The purest expression of omniscience I've ever heard in a pop song. Slightly creepy, even.

The fact that this song is one of my favorite singles ever might offend you Airheads a bit, but it is playing on the radio when I am fighting with silvery greys:
Vicky Sue Robinson "Turn The Beat Around". A great Disco classic to dance the night away on. And I did!
Quite surprisingly it seems to be a very influential single, it is plagiarized in a lot of contemperary european dance music.

Hey Susan.....thanx for asking.....:)...you mean Roky performed in Melby?!!! That was a show not to miss if ever:):)! Me? I wasn't in Victoria, but in WA...Fremantle to be exact, visiting Bon Scott's tomb. Say...if you have any cool photos of the Roky gig, pls post them here. Did he play mostly 13th Floor Elevator or Aliens tunes??!:):)

Mostly his solo stuff, but he did "Reverberation" (which was the one I was hoping for), "I've Seen Your Face Before" (which nearly brought tears to my eyes), and naturally we got "You're Gonna Miss Me" for the encore. My brother got photos, I'll post some soon.

I'm curious to see Roky Down Under....I'm sure he toured OZ> in the 60s / 70s,but I was to small to go :):)!!! Thanx will be looking fwd to those piccies:):)
