This could possibly be the most brillant psych album of the 60's! Theirs just something about it that few albums are able to live up to, its some inexplainable magical force. JA came pretty damn close with Baxters, but to me its just not as good.. your thoughts please, they would be much appreciated!

I came across this album about 20 years ago and it still knocks me out today. As a "concept" album it's probably the best of its time. It's one of those great albums where all the songs rock and each song seems to segue perfectly into the next one.

The live version of this one is outstanding too. I'd definitely recommend that...

However, I think i like Baxter's better tho. Just by a little bit.

BTW, Have you heard the Pretty Things' Parachute? That won an award by Rolling Stone as best album of the year...(the year being 1970!)

that album is truly flawless. even the bunus tracks are great. EVEN the songs that were recorded the same year by them under the name Electric Banana were great.
