Acoustic Demos

Hey all,

I was just nosing around the other day as I'm prone to do when I'm bored, and I saw some site mentioning Airplane acoustic demos... namely Grace's piano demos for "Mexico" and some song called "Frozen Noses (Willy)". Does anyone have these tracks in their possesion, by any chance?

Well, I got the two versions of Mexico downloaded, Frozen Noses only came in to the first 30 seconds, so I'm going to try it again.

Do you have any idea if that's actually Grace overdubbed on the Acoustic Guitars? I hear voices at the beginning of the Mexico demo, but I don't know if it's Paul or just some engineers. If that's her, I'm bloody amazed - I wasn't even sure if she played.

Is "Been So Long" also a Grace-penned tune? I haven't downloaded that yet, since it takes a couple hours. I'm planning to get that one tomorrow morning.

Maybe I'm just crazy, but I actually kinda like the piano version of Mexico better than the released one. Her solo singing accompanied on jsut one instrument is absolutely beautiful - makes you wonder if she ever spent any time as a folksinger - I know that's how Joplin got started.

Wow, that been so long tune is a really cool instrumental...

Anyone else having trouble downloading Frozen Noses? I keep getting it to a minute and a half and then it just cuts off. Is it supposed to cut off there?

It works fine here on my harddrive.
Did you do : right mouse click - save target as ?
That should work better then just clicking on it, and let you're media player buffer it while playing.
I will see if i can upload some more songs in time

they all work fine box of rain.I didn't have any problems.but it'd be better if they were 128kbps or 160.because it takes too many space on the hdd.thank you again

Alright, It took me a few tries, but I finally got Frozen Noses all the way. Very pretty song... kind of unusual for Grace, isn't it? Seems very sentimental... I didn't know the woman ever even attempted a love song until, like, 1975. I love the guitar line. Very Spanish. Makes me suspect it is, in fact, Grace.

More songs, you say? Does this mean (This is the point where I get wild eyed and foam at the mouth)... there are... MORE... UNRELEASED... GRACE SLICK SONGS?!?!?
