Tales of Brave Ulysses is one of my all time faves. Was really hoping they'd do it at the Cream reunion, but twas not to be.

Nice choices! I haven't heard 'The Porpoise Song" in ages. I always thought that was an overlooked album, as well as movie.

Oh, I like Ball & Chain. I love Big Brother's music from the Joplin era. That song was originally a blues song sung by Willie Mae Thornton. Janis changed it enough to make it her own, but still kept it pretty true to Big Mama Thornton's version. I don't know if it's just me or what, but I don't really consider any of Janis Joplin's songs psychedelic/trippy or whatever. Maybe Magic of Love. The way she sings parts of that remind me of Grace Slick.

For this list i chose the cream of the crop! We have to remember that there is a difference between songs that are psychedelic and songs that are just plain jams. The songs have to be psychedelic in sound effects or obvious refrences to drugs. Im going to exempt all the major groups like the doors and jimi hendrix for they are far too popular to even mention as we all own their albums. There is no reason to recap what we already know. Here are my pics 4 U lol:

the beatles - tomorrow never knows
pink floyd - welcome to the machine
the doors - strange days
led zeppelin - no quarter
tom waits - underground

I'm not sure if these are considered as psychedelic:
the kinks - sunny afternoon (possibly)
the zombies - she's not there
king crimson - fallen angel
