need translation any help

hi.. i was wondering if anyone knows the translation of the song " never argue with a german if your tired or european"
i would appreciate anyone given me the english meaning to the song lyrics thank you

A translation? I can only try.
The problem is that it is supposed to be written in German.
But the lyrics are as German as the lyrics of 'Theme from Manhole" are Spanish.
The lyric-flyer of the original Bark issue doesn't help much. The lyrics are phonetically written for English speakers. But there are words that I don't recognize and I don't know what might be meant (I can't find my dictionnary at the moment).
In general the lyrics are inspired by her car accident and her tempestious relationship with Paul Kantner, often referred to by Grace as being "german".
So here we go:

Stuck in my "Haken" ( Heel? "hacke'' in german)
Stuck in my skin ( Then a line I can't make sense of:)

Perhaps someone with a better grasp of German, can make more of it.

This song is quite incomprehensible, but these are the facts:
China was born on January 25 1971.
The recording of the song started in April 1971.
Grace added some lines after her car accident May 13 1971.
The infamous concert was June 1978.

fair zuc es - versuch es. Versuchen means "to try", so 'try it".
Versuchen can also mean "to tempt". but "tempt it" makes even less sense than "try it".

Well Cynkool, what do you think? Do you understand the song now?
Though I do speak german quite well, I am not sure I do. But that in itself doesn't surprise me, a lot of songs Grace wrote are, how to say this, impressionist writing. "Hey Frederick" for instance, I am not sure what it is about, but somehow the images that are invoked by the lyrics go well with the melody.
But your question made me wonder: Are all english speakers among us so good in german that they understood the song right away, did they never wonder what the song was about, or do they just don't care (I understand that, Americans are very myopic).
Well dummies, now that you know what the song is about, give me your opinion.
Before all of you get mad, I use "dummies" in the sense of "silent ones".
