I have been thinking alot about Spencer lately. I was a drummer in the late 60's and Spencer was one of two influences in my playing style or approach. We really lost an innovator with his passing. Spencer's contribution to JA for those 4 years was remarkable. JA was like a wonderful group of ingredients that magically came together to make music and speak to those of us out here whom felt voiceless. I think once the ingredients were changed ( Spencer's leaving the group) the magic was diminished.
I'd like to think Spencer is in a better place now, still playing.

Hi freaks,
is there any song of the airplane, where Spencer does a good solo?
I Think he is a really very good drummer.
For example the opening of 3/5 of a mile on the Blessed its..., or the opening of Other Side in Woodstock was fantastic cool.
So: is there a solo in any song? In which?
Never argue with a german
