Re: Generous offer from jonestown

Hello from Freddie Beach (Fredericton, N.B., Canada)
I'll try for the fourth time to post a reply. That is indeed a special treat you are providing. If it's not too late I'd love a copy to share with my students and friends and would gladly help out with any associated costs. If not, I understand and hope that one of the ten will make this available to those of us who missed out the first time. I've just finished listening to Volunteers with the bonus live tracks, so any opportunity to extend that experience would be welcomed.
Thanks for keeping those live vibes alive for the rest of us!
Warmest regards from Freddie Beach.

OK Gracie - I need your address. Send me a PM.

I'm going to close this at this point - maybe reopen it later.

This has gone out to Belgium, UK, Italy, Hong Kong, Turkey, Canada, New Zealand, and even a few here in the U.S.A. - - I had no idea we have such an international crew here!

8) 8) :D Oh yeah.......be sure that there IS a huge international crew here.......I'm an aussie working in Italy and when my Italian friends saw the CDs you sent, they were all (and still are!!) full of envy. There's a big JA comm. here in Italy you know!!! Well...at least NOT all the kids here listen to wimpy music which is the whole European tendency :x :?
By the way, are you a Brian Jonestown Massacre fan........I heard one of their sound files and was literally blown away by the psych. sound!!!!!

Hey all, I've sent out a few more copies of this to PMer's. I wanted to let you know that I've enjoyed this a lot, but at this point I'm going to close it down for the time being. Maybe later I will reopen the offer.

Of course, if there's anyone willing to pick up where we left off, just do it!

I've been listening to the O'Kefe Center part for many times now. I just love the continuity and uncut status of the songs and inbetween. THANKS AGAIN JONESTOWN!!! :D

I am also one of the lucky recipients of this music, and have particularly enjoyed the O'Keefe recordings. Best version of "Come Back Baby" I've heard, and the little chops Jorme does on "White Rabbit" are wicked! Some of these songs are new to me, as I only own 3 JA records - I was blown away by "Go to Her" - which album is this song on? "Jorma's Bangs" sounds like they were getting ready to do "Candyman" - did this group do old blues numbers (like rev. Gary Davis) during their shows, like Jorma does solo?
Thank you, again, Mike - it's so cool to own this rare chunk of history!!!
It's good times now - I can see the light!
