It's odd... probably 80% of what I write isn't at all about me. My emotions don't really enter into it all that much. I just need a good idea. I can usually go from there.

Aaaah, you're so lucky... German and Russian are both awesome languages. Unfortunately, mi escuela doesn't teach either one. Russian is seriously cool though. My mom speaks some Greek, and that's an interesting language too.

None of my schools ever taught Russian, either. I had to teach myself. I also didn't ever take German, I know my German by listening to German music. So I guess when you listen to foreign music for so long, you start to pick up on the language a bit.

It can be if you speak it every day. If you don't, it's very easy to lose it, unfortunately. But otherwise it's nice to learn many languages. Then you can pick up on so many similarities and it's easier to understand other languages.

If we're talking music, I come from very far in rockland.....say, Little Richard?!!! :). I'm obsessed with NON wimpy music, rock, PSYCHEDELIC MUSIC in primis, women rockers like Grace Slick , etc.
Non music wise, I dig chess, reading forums and mags, translating, meeting new people, women, beer drinking, etc. I don't do drugs by personal choice, but I can't tell anyone else NOT to :)

No happy hour for me in my favorite bar. Some of you might wonder why this can be, but this "happy-go-lucky, where is the action" -fag is glued to the TV screen, whatching the political developments in Egypt. It has for me the same fascination as the fall of the Berlin Wall, the downfall of the USSR, the end of the Ceaucescu-regime, all those sudden, unexpected, completely unpredicted shifts in political reality, that are so inescapably (and so sexy) brought to us by the modern media.
Whatching CNN, I can only smile when I see Obama caught with his pants down. Why is it that even a liberal president (in the perspective of the USA of course, for us he is just another moderate rightwinger) thinks he can protect American interests by supporting the most oppressive, dictatorial regimes, while at the same time championing the USA as the guardian of freedom and democracy?
It is not only the Mubarak regime that lost his position in the world, I am afraid. It is not Obama who lost Egypt, it is the USA that lost the world.
This forum is very dead lately, don't you all think?
